I am thrilled to share some significant and exciting news. Morpheus has agreed to be acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a long-time Morpheus OEM partner and a trusted provider of edge-to-cloud solutions. You can read additional details in the HPE announcement press release.
This acquisition marks a monumental step forward for our Morpheus Data family. Over the years, we’ve seen this space evolve from first-generation CMPs and vendor-limited solutions to an active and mature market demanding a unified approach to hybrid cloud platform operations.
Morpheus was originally developed by practitioners who needed a unified platform to do their job; that practitioner focus on developers and cloud architects has been key to our success and we are proud to have maintained customer focus since inception. Our ability to enable Developer self-service for provisioning of VMs, Containers, Apps, and Clusters into any cloud coupled with policy guardrails to keep IT, Security, and Finance teams happy is a perfect fit with HPE GreenLake cloud and will continue that trajectory.
By joining forces with HPE, we will be able to leverage their extensive resources, industry expertise, and global reach to enhance our ability to deliver even more innovative solutions and better serve our customers. With the addition of Morpheus, HPE will be the first vendor to offer a full suite of hybrid cloud capabilities for traditional, cloud-native, and AI workloads for commercial, public sector, and service providers around the globe.
For our valued customers and ecosystem of partners, we thank you for trusting us to enable your hybrid cloud journey so far and look forward to accelerating together in the future. We will be reaching out to you all over the coming weeks with details on the next steps for our continued work together. Our goal is to make this a seamless transition but please let your account team or partner manager know if you have any questions or would like to speak with a member of our team.
