Welcome to the Morpheus Minute. Today we’re going to talk about Apps Morpheus Apps are a quick and easy way to package multiple instances like web servers, middleware, and databases into a single, easy to deploy application. There are several app templates that come from Morpheus by default. Apps can be created from existing instances and new templates can be created to define application stacks common to your needs. This Morpheus minute covers App creation from existing instances. To provision an App from existing instances within Morpheus, Click Provisioning, Apps, then click Add App. Fill in the name and optional description, then click Instances. Here we can search from an instance, filter them by type or infrastructure, or just look through the list to find one. Click the plus next to the instances to add to your app. In this case, we’re going to use Spud_Web and Spud_DB for a small tomcat/mysql app stack. Click save. At this point Morpheus creates the app, then connects the instances chosen. To manage your new app, just click on its name. That’s it! Thanks for watching this Morpheus Minute.
