Our enterprise and MSP customers can quickly enable on-premises private clouds, centralize public cloud access, and orchestrate change with cost analytics, governance policy, and automation. We transact over 90% through the indirect channel which means we are constantly engaged with VARs, OEMs, and other channel partners.

Our partners are a critical part of our aggressive growth plans, spanning a diverse group of global and local systems integrators, resellers, and managed service providers. 

We are looking for a Channel Sales Leader to direct and inspire our growing channel organization and integrate strategies with our sales, marketing, enablement, and support teams. In this highly visible role, you will lead a group of channel sales professionals responsible for indirect go to market strategy, operations, and revenue throughout the globe. Our channel teams run grass-roots campaigns within the territories, and tie strategies across our nationals, OEMs, MSPs and Distributors to grow our base of evangelists and our business. The ideal candidate has spent time leading cross-functional teams, building and managing partnerships at a technology vendor – preferably a start-up, and has cultivated positive relationships in the space.  If you’re ready to roll-up your sleeves in a fast paced environment and drive results, give us a shout.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute our Channel Sales Strategy with the broader sales, engineering, enablement, and marketing leadership team
  • Manage the overall channel sales process, set appropriate metrics for channel sales and pipeline management
  • Accurately forecast business and take the necessary actions to achieve results – own the number
  • Lead and build upon an existing channel team including hiring, mentorship, and performance management
  • Represent Morpheus’ channel and evangelize our mission and purpose both internally and externally
  • Craft and execute initiatives including training, enablement, and co-selling with Morpheus field teams
  • Partner with marketing, enablement, support and engineering to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel leads, pipeline, and deal progression
  • Track, measure, and report channel program effectiveness against targets and adjust programs and strategies as necessary
  • Understand our partners’ businesses and develop strategies and incentives to increase profitability through our partnership
  • Be a liaison and ambassador for our partners inside Morpheus and support and improve our channel processes and programs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of partner management experience
  • Experience building and managing channel programs in multiple regionals around the world
  • Demonstrated track record of channel sales success
  • Passion for recruiting and developing top talent
  • Understands partner decision making and what drives behavior in both engineering and sales
  • Worked in Software, Cloud, Virtualization, or Infrastructure with solid technical aptitude
  • Approaches problems in a rational manner using data and sound strategies that ensure effective resolutions
  • Demonstrated success in meeting demanding schedules and making trade off decisions when needed
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to confidently present to leadership, engineering, sales, and large groups with confidence and energy
  • Multitasking, self-motivated, and inspiring team leader and player. Highly organized and seeks business impact.
  • Flexible and adaptable. We are an agile company in hyper-growth mode. Being comfortable with change and leveraging it is key. 
  • Focused on doing what’s right for the business. Leverage relationship skills to inspire trust and credibility with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company.
  • History of successful project management, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and in-depth, hands-on execution skills and tracking complex programs with many moving parts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with history of successful cross-functional projects and management
