Morpheus Data is a fast-growing but established start-up focused on the unified management of hybrid clouds, containers, and infrastructure automation. About The Role

The Integration Architect and Alliance Program Engineer is a unicorn who balances technical delivery depth with program development expertise plus a pinch of technical marketing and a dash of sales acumen.  As we establish an extensible plugin framework, we need somebody who can understand the technical elements of how plugins are developed for Morpheus, assist third-party developers and alliance partners in understanding Morpheus, and work with partners and alliances to promote the development of Morpheus plugins.  Existing detail on Morpheus plugin framework is available at developer.morpheusdata.com.  Examples of current internally developed Morpheus plugins are available on share.morpheusdata.com.

In This Role, You Can Expect To:

  • Define, develop, and execute the program for working with customers and partners on Morpheus plugins… from definition, to testing and certification, to support considerations, to lifecycle management.
  • Active participation in Morpheus roadmap and engineering planning calls to influence the roadmap as it relates to plugins and other OEM/GSI needs but also to inform partners on roadmap timing
  • Develop and execute plugin enablement plans which include training content, whitepapers, working sessions, repository examples, FAQs, etc.
  • Hands-on keyboard work roughing out and assisting in plugin development and implementation as needed with customers and ecosystem partners
  • Communicate via phone, email, face-to-face, and web meetings with Tech Alliance and OEM/GSI partners guiding them through the technical aspects of Morpheus in pre and post-sales conversations.
  • Remain up-to-date on Morpheus and ecosystem technologies and maintain familiarity and adherence to all company methods and procedures.
  • Augment OEM-GSI field CT resources in working with strategic partners in various lab setups, troubleshooting, and technical advisory sessions.
  • Assist Morpheus tech marketing in supporting the sales and pre-sales team with content development, competitive analysis, presentations and webinars, event support, etc.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, work autonomously, and deliver results collaboratively without task oversight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to apply those skills to technical content development
  • Comfortable developing and giving presentations and speaking in front of an audience
  • Practical understanding of cloud computing architecture and DevOps processes
  • Experience designing, deploying, or operating self-service provisioning and automation solutions
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, containers, configuration management, IaC, and ITSM
  • Specific expertise in VMware, AWS/Azure, ServiceNow, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes are all a plus
  • Skills in basic programming fundamentals and experience with Ruby, Java, Groovy, Grails, and Spring are all a plus
  • Sound knowledge of REST API, reactive programming, and test automation is helpful
