Welcome to the Morpheus Minute. Today we’re going to Restore, download, and delete an internal backup. The Morpheus Platform is engineered to provide a full suite of tools to manage everything from infrastructure to applications. Along with the platform comes native backups. Morpheus can also integrate with third-party tools like Commvault. Everything from instance, VM snapshot, database backups, etc are supported. This Morpheus minute shows you how to work with an internal instance backup. Another Morpheus Minute gives a tour of overall backup features. To access existing backups, click Backups in the main nav. Then click Backups in the sub-nav. Then Click History. Each historical backup is displayed here. Select a date range to narrow the list. Now find the backup you wan to use. In this case, let’s work with SpudDB which is a MySQL backup. Morpheus internal MySQL backups are dumps of the database. Those can be directly restored, downloaded or deleted. To download, simply click download. To restore, click restore, then select current instance or new instance, then click restore. To delete, click delete, then click delete in the following screen. That’s it! Thanks for watching this Morpheus Minute.
